Bidragon Steel Silos
Steel silo supplier — agricultural, industrial, storage and environmental silos

Bolted Silo | Bidragon Steel Silos

A bolted silo from Bidragon, also called a panel-assembled silo, is a bolt-connected silo body. The product documentation states that the silo body is connected with high-strength bolts, that all parts of any size can be packed in boxes for transport, saving freight cost, and that the body is divided into a top cover, a middle straight section and a lower cone, with longitudinal sections and transverse panels, each panel joined by flange bolts with rubber sealing strips into a whole.

The bottom connects to a screw conveyor, which can move cement and similar materials to a mixer or batching system, and the top is fitted with a dust collector. The documented applications include cement, lime, gypsum, fly ash, various cementitious materials, crushed stone, limestone, sand and various aggregates, used at loading and unloading stations and mixing systems.

Applications

Bolted silos serve batching plants, aggregate handling and powder storage sites where transport in boxes and on-site assembly matter. The bolted and corrugated galvanized steel silos on this site share the same documented diameter and capacity figures, but they are different products: the bolted silo is a panel structure, while the corrugated silo is a corrugated plate structure, and they are kept as separate pages for that reason.

How this product fits in a storage line

Industrial silos are normally planned around the material and the process, not around a generic capacity figure. Flow behaviour, dust, moisture, temperature and discharge reliability decide whether a given structure, bottom configuration and dust control arrangement will work, and the same nominal size can behave very differently with different materials. A buyer comparing industrial silos should therefore state the material, the handling rate and the downstream equipment in the inquiry, and should check which fittings, such as level sensors, dust collectors and discharge aids, are included in the proposal.

What to confirm in your inquiry

Because silo requirements depend on the material, the site and the handling system, the following items are confirmed per project before any quotation is issued. Sending these details with your inquiry helps the supplier respond with a workable proposal rather than a generic price.

Where a value is not listed on this page, it is not a standard figure for this product. It is a project-specific figure to be confirmed in writing during the inquiry process, and it should not be assumed from another product on this site.
